Information About Broker Services Specializations: Residential and Property Management Marian Nixon grew up in Fredericksburg, attended Sul Ross University for her BS in Education, and then returned to her hometown and eventually to start a family to begin her teaching career, as well as help with the family peach orchards. Marian began her real estate career as a sales agent in 1973, and then along with her husband Vic and father-in-law, they opened Nixon Real Estate in 1977. Marian added her broker’s license in 1978 and assisted her husband Vic in operating the family firm. With over 40 years experience in real estate, she has specialized knowledge in residential real estate. Marian started Nixon Real Estate Rentals in the 1980’s, specializing in property management, and oversees well over a 100 residential and commercial rentals in the Fredericksburg area. Marian is a member of the Central Hill Country Board of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Better Business Bureau, and the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce. Marian has taken on many leadership roles within the community and is proud to have been an integral part of the inception of the Gillespie County Board of Realtors.
